Jennifer Lopez totes her $200K Himalayan Birkin bag to the gym

Jennifer Lopez took high-low to a new level as she visited a gym in the Hamptons on Tuesday, pairing her casual activewear with an ultra-rare Hermès Himalayan Birkin bag.

The “I’m Real” singer, 54, sported a cropped sweatshirt and what looks like a blue version of Niyama Sol’s Dip Dye leggings ($92) with a pair of white sneakers as she headed to work out, teaming her athletic look with the high-end designer tote.

The Himalayan style is one of the most coveted (and expensive) handbags in the world, with versions of J.Lo’s Nile crocodile hide tote widely selling for $200,000 and up on the resale market, per Sotheby’s.

A diamond-trimmed version of the rare handbag has also fetched up some seriously high prices at auction over the years, with Christie’s selling a Himalayan Birkin with 18k white gold and diamond hardware for a whopping $380,000 in 2017.

Along with her pricey purse, the “Let’s Get Loud” singer also carried another bold accessory for her gym trip this week, clutching one of her beloved bling cups under her arm and carrying another (albeit less sparkly) water bottle in her hand.

The “Marry Me” actress first carried the sought-after Birkin in 2019 while engaged to Alex Rodriguez and, in true diva style, has since brought it to the gym on several occasions.

Also owned by Victoria Beckham and Kim Kardashian — who brought hers to a soccer match last month — this iconic Birkin is named after the Himalayan mountains and the way its colors blend into each other, according to Christie’s.

“The smoky grey fades into a pearly white, resembling the majestic, snow-capped Himalayas,” the auction house writes on its website, adding that “the dyeing process is time-consuming and exponentially more difficult as the shades lighten — to create the immaculate white of the snow and the gradation to rocky grey requires great skill and a fine eye.”

J.Lo’s Himalayan isn’t the only Hermès style she’s carried to the gym, having brought her bright yellow Kelly bag from the brand along for a 2018 sweat session and other solid color Birkins for workouts over the years.
