The Citizens First National Bank is pleased to announce that Chad Halder has fulfilled all requirements to become a certified financial planner professional. The designation is the standard of excellence in financial planning and requires rigorous education, extensive training, a high level of ethical standards and a commitment to serve clients’ best interests.
Halder has been a member of the Citizens First National Bank’s Trust and Wealth Management team for the past 18 years. He has made his home in Storm Lake since his 2005 graduation from Buena Vista University. Halder is a Registered Investment Advisor and has vast experience in portfolio management, retirement planning, and estate and trust management.
The Trust and Wealth Management department offers a wide array of services including: investment management; estate and trust planning and administration; retirement plan offerings; and general financial planning. The team of financial experts is committed to serving their clients’ best interests today while tailoring a financial plan to meet their future goals and needs. The seasoned Trust and Wealth Management personnel have over 100 years of combined experience. Julia Mooney, both CFP and Series 7 licensed, has been with the team since 1982. Matt Forristal, trust officer and attorney, has been with the bank since 2010 and has over 30 years of experience. Darin Elsden, investment representative, brings more than 25 years of investment experience to the department.
